Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) returns to the Yorkshire Dales

Daniel Radcliffe is once again back in the wonderful Yorkshire Dales, but instead of it being for Harry Potter, he is now filming scenes for his latest film, The Women in Black (Produced by James Watkins).

The Women in Black looks to be a great horror film, in which Daniel Radcliffe is cast as Arthur Kipps, a Lawyer, who is sent to a village on business, but starts to see the ghost of a Women dressed in black, and also has to deal with the local villagers who are hiding the identity of the Women.

I feel the film will compare slightly to the Wicker Man, in which the villagers keep the disappearance of tourists a secret from a local policeman.

The film is set in Victorian times, and looks to be a hit with fans of Daniel Radcliffe, and the Horror Drama Genre.

Below is a photo I took of Daniel during his break from his extensive filming schedule.

I will eagerly look forward to watching Daniels Radcliffe’s latest film, which will arrive in Cinema Mid Summer of 2011.

There is beauty all around us, if we would just take the time to look.

On a recent Photo Trek I came across an Extreme Mountain Biker who was cycling rather quickly and jumping over and off rocks, after watching in awe as he performed his fast paced and aggressive sport for awhile, I turned around to capture what I had gone out for in the first place, which was the sun setting.

It was then that my focus was drawn away slightly from the beautiful sunset, and I stood back a little shocked and amazed that the Extreme Mountain Biker I was watching earlier, who was so focused in his sport had stopped suddenly right in front of me.

He just stood there motionless and in amazement at the stunning sunset happening before him.

I think the event was rather touching and made me think of the title of this article "There is beauty all around us, if we would just take the time to look."

Below is a photo i took of the Extreme Mountain Biker taking in the beautiful sunset.

Perhaps we could all take a leaf from that Cyclist, and open our eyes.

Photography at Chester Zoo

I had the pleasure of visiting the wonderful Chester Zoo recently, and i must say it was a fantasic experiance as a photographer.

My first impression was how large the zoo was and felt we would certainly get our money's worth, my next thought was that alot of thought was taken into the zoo's design and how most people visiting would be taking photos.

The food in the main Cafe Tsavo which is an african themed resturant was good, and they had a wide selection, catering for vegitarians and children which is always nice to see.

I would recommend Chester Zoo to anyone who wants a fantastic day out.

One of my favorite moments was watching, and being able to photograph a baby Asian Elephant and its Mother, below is a photo i took of them together.

Mother and Baby Asian Elephant

As you can see the mother is very protective of the baby, and the baby would not leave its mothers side.
